Danny and his team were willing to help us build a sport court in 2020. We appreciated their prompt service and fair price at the time. Fast forward 16 months and our sport court developed significant cracking which they repaired. In present day the sport court is not operational and beyond repair as there is significant cracking leading to an uneven surface of approximately 1-2 inches height difference running horizontally the entire length of the court. We can all agree the crack is due to ground failure. We have now paid a lot of money to have a leak detection service tell us we have no water leaking under or around the court and a soft consultation with a water drainage engineer tell us this was likely due to poor ground prep given the several FEET of gravel the asphalt was poured over. When we did have Danny out to evaluate he essentially told us it was ground failure but took no accountability to the fact this was likely the result of improper gravel compaction and poor ground/site prep.

We called to have someone look at an area at our house that we’d like to be hard surface (concrete, pavers, asphalt, anything) instead of simply dirt and weeds. Without any phone call or appointment someone showed up in our driveway (days-weeks after they were first contacted). His first words were “you want asphalt? I don’t get it.” So I explained it’s a small area we want to not be just dirt and weeds. He replied “well I’m not really interested in doing it.” After telling him never mind then, he continued to explain that he is booked out and why it would be $2500 and how he couldn’t get equipment there (without even looking at it). It was a very poor customer experience. Please schedule an appointment first and be invested in your customer. Or tell us from the first contact that you aren’t taking new clients at the time. They may do nice work, but this was a terrible customer service experience.
